A Monster Calls is an American horror fantasy children’ film based on a novel of the same name. The story follows the story about a boy and a monster that lives in the tree. The boy has his mother suffering from a terminal illness and that gets him depressed, unable to do anything at all. The monster that comes to him every night tells him stories, which somehow helps the boy to deal with the heartbreaking situation. An unlikely friendship gets formed between the two which forms the foundation of the enigmatic tale of heartbreak and loss.
