The Resurrection of Gavin Stone is an American comedy drama film based on the life of a falling actor and his wishes to star in a play thats going to portray him as Jesus Christ. The story follows a former child star, who was sort of a household name as a child actor and now largely forgotten. He is desperate to make a name and living as an actor and he gets an opportunity of a lifetime when he gets the chance to play Jesus in a play organized by a big church.
